Alma College offers a personalized education that allows you to create new knowledge through academic research, expand your horizons with global study initiatives, supplement your academic studies with relevant experiential learning opportunities and indulge your artistic and athletic yearnings while completing your degree on time.

We are a coed, four-year, residential, undergraduate, private, liberal arts and sciences in Alma, Michigan – one hour north of the state capital of Lansing, in the center of the Lower Peninsula. Our 128 acre campus has 27 major buildings, plus 200-acre ecological tract.

Alma College enrolls 1,435 undergraduate students from 24 states and 17 countries. We employ a full-time teaching faculty of 103, of which 82 percent hold the Ph.D. or other terminal degree. The student-to-faculty ratio at Alma is 12 students for every one faculty member with an average class size of 18 students. We offer more than 50, plus the chance to design your own program of study. An average of 90% of our students participate in at least one service learning course. The average incoming high school GPA is 3.5.
