Concord University is a public, career focused institution located on a beautiful 123-acre campus in southern West Virginia. Located in Athens, WV, Concord University is home to nearly 1,900 students from 25 states and 37 countries. With an average class of 13, all courses are taught by professors. Concord offers over 60 areas of academic study for undergraduate programs in addition to 5 graduate programs. Concord offers a quality affordable education and holds a rich tradition in awarding scholarships to students.

Concord has activities and organizations for every student. From honors and service organizations to recreational and faith-based, there’s plenty of ways to get involved on campus! Concord hosts 16 men’s and women’s NCAA varsity sports and participates in the Mountain East Conference. In addition to intramural sports, Concord University is also the first public college in WV to start a varsity esports team. If the arts are more your style, we offer plenty of opportunities to perform with choir, band, theatre and chorus. Concord is also the only public institution that participates in the prestigious Bonner Scholars Program, which awards aid to students for community service hours.
