The United States Naval Academy is the undergraduate college of our country’s naval service. It is an institution dedicated to preparing young men and women to become professional officers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The academic program begins with a core curriculum that includes courses in engineering, science, mathematics and the humanities. The Naval Academy provides an excellent learning environment with a student to faculty ratio of 8:1. The Academy offers 33 NCAA Division 1 varsity sports, 18 club sports, and 15 intramural sports through one of the largest athletic programs in the nation. As a student at the Academy, you will also find numerous opportunities for extracurricular activities to complement the rich academic and physical training at the Academy. All students who attend do so on a full scholarship.
